I was a little hesitant after this arrived and I opened the box. There was a lot of hardware and a lot of pieces. However, I have a lot of experience in assembling furniture so I steeled myself and began putting it together.  Luckily, the pieces and hardware look more complicated & intricate than they actually are. It did take me a few hours to put together, and I did need very quick assistance (under 10 mins both times), but it was fairly straightforward to assemble with the instruction booklet.  I really love the way it looks and how it hides the shoes from view making everything look so clean and un-cluttered. It has enough room for my shoes, even my ankle boots, which was a pleasant surprise!  I will be using the included anchor system to anchor it to the wall for safety to make sure it doesn't tip over. It does seem sturdy but the height and how narrow it is does make me glad it came with anchor hardware. Despite needing two people, I managed to do it myself. It was very difficult. There seemed to be some missing screws and little pieces that were needed to screw in the drawers. I fixed the problem by buying new screws of the right size. The drawers are uneven due to the missing parts, but it functions fine, and it's not super noticeable. It could be user error that caused the unevenness. The holes were a little off, making putting it together harder. Overall, this is a project I would recommend for two people because it took me probably 4 hours. Either way, it looks really nice in my dining room, fits a lot of shoes (though mens shoes will fit less pairs). I'm overall happy with it. Read more

The cabinet fits in well with the decor in the room, and the assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. The media could not be loaded. Overall seems pretty sturdy and actually does fit 24 pairs of regular shoes (sandals, running shoes)  This took me a while to put together because you have to hammer in some plastic plugs and I don’t own a hammer, but I liked that the “wood” wasn’t splitting even though I was decently rough with it. This shoe cabinet was a pain to put together. The instructions were very clear and simple but the holes weren’t drilled in enough so it took a LOT of effort to get each screw in.  Took me HOURS but I eventually got it done and I have to say, it was worth it. I love this shoe cabinet. It’s sturdy and beautiful and just what my home needed.
